Interfacial tension

For the determination of the interfacial tension the shape of a hanging drop is analyzed. The apparatus of the Pendant-drop method is a self construction and enables measurements of the interfacial and the surface tension of liquid-liquid or liquid-gas systems in a range of = 0,5... 10 mN/m at a temperature range of room temperature up to 250°C.
